
WhatsApp Voice Feature Starts Rolling Out
Two weeks ago, WhatsApp launched its web feature ‘WhatsApp Web’ has reportedly came out with its new- free voice calling feature. Is WhatsApp going to be the next Skype? It seems so.
The world’s most successful mobile application is all set to go ahead in becoming the perfect mobile application. With nearly 700 million people using WhatsApp these days; it’s going to be a big step ahead in providing them free voice call service. But, the bigger question is: will WhatsApp be able to provide the same quality as that of Skype or FaceTime.
The experts think they will provide a good quality since they’ve been acquired be Facebook and Facebook’s voice feature is pretty good.
The story of the free voice call first broke on reddit, when a user named Pradnesh Patil with ID ‘pradnesh07’ posted some screenshots of showing call option in the app and later posted a video showing that too.
To get the latest voice feature you will need the WhatsApp version of ‘2.11.508’ and Android version of 4.3 Jelly Bean and above.
WhatsApp has recently emerged as a new medium of digital marketing. It’s becoming very popular among the most of the internet marketing service providers in India, US and other countries where watsapp is highly popular. Due its popularity, companies are sending offers and links using this application which has proved to be very effective and the voice calling feature will be useful not for personal use but for business communication as well.
